15 of the very best responses to Melania Trump's copycat speech

“I have a dream.” – Melania Trump

LAST NIGHT, MELANIA Trump delivered a rousing peech in support of her husband, Donald Trump, at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

Shortly afterwards, it emerged that Melania’s speech was more than a little bit similar to First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Uh-oh.

Needless to say, Twitter has had a field day.

People have poked fun at the blatant similarities between the two speeches

And started attributing famous quotes to Melania

As well as old speeches

Hey, at least she didn’t mention Sasha and Malia, right?

As for who wrote the speech? That would be this duo

Meanwhile, Chris O’Dowd has his own theory…

It’s all part of a grand conspiracy!

Other highly plausible theories were presented

Ah yes.

There were more than a few allusions to yesterday’s Taylor Swift drama

I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative.

At least Donald seems happy with it, though.

2016, eh? What a rollercoaster.
